Dataset for: Experimental Setup for Thermal and Cyclic Axial Loading of District Heating Pipes

Abstract

This dataset was created as part of the research project "Experimental Setup for Thermal and Cyclic Axial Loading of District Heating Pipes" and contains prameters from existing test setups for thermo-mechanical testing of pre-insulated district heating pipes collected from (Doyle & Weidlich, 2021), (Hay et al., 2020 ), (Schleyer et al., 2016), (Thieme et al., 2011), (Vega et al., 2021) in 2026. The dataset comprises tested pipe diameters, insulation foam type, conditioning temperature, applied thermal and mechanical load and number of applied cycles and was processed and curated to support analyses of developing a new test setup.
